I never knew about Laura's incredible sketchbooks when I first spoke to her about impuzzle... then she rolls out this amazing sketchbook, while starting her impuzzle season one Castle Roswell artwork. My first reaction was... what? this sketchbook looks like she found it hidden within the walls of the Medieval Castles she visits in her home country. It's very impressive how close the finished artwork is to her original sketches... however, it is also fun to see the changes sh

the dinosaur bones... the crashed go kart... the alien pinup poster hiding the escape hole... the mouse on the treadwheel... the throwing knives... the alien laser gun... the light reflecting from the lit flames... the adorable Rootle shoveling dirt. This is absolutely amazing!

the unboxing videos below were created by a fellow instagram follower named curiouskat_puzzles... her puzzle collection is amazing and literally shows like a mini puzzle library... yes, there are actual rows of shelves to browse.

of course impuzzle season one has an alien spaceship crashing into Castle Roswell and is obviously reported as a mysterious weather balloon. Laura's creativity is such a compliment to her amazing wimmelbild artwork.

these pro skateboards turned out awesome... even the printing on the grip tape is so vibrant and colourful. These are the exact kind of skateboards I rode as a kid.

I'm posting this for full transparency... unfortunately, the impuzzle prototypes did not meet the level of quality I demand for impuzzle. Although the printing and the ESKA puzzle pieces are outstanding quality... the die-cutting fell short. I ultimately wanted to see the print quality and thought I would use the printer's in-house steel rule die to finish the first six prototypes... unfortunately, the steel rule die used to cut the prototypes, was slightly dull and has cause

I will be sending these to Vietnam shortly, where he will sign both and these will be the only signed press sheets. I printed 10 sheets total... the other 8 are framed, unsigned and numbered 1/1 and 1/7 to 7/7. the phone on the right shows the size of the puzzle

when I approached the artists, about first creating a playing card and then the actual puzzle... Khoai didn't just show how talented he was creating the playing card... he has obviously done an outstanding job creating impuzzle season two. He totally nailed it... when I said, the playing card is just one small section of the puzzle... he did just that. a big part of what I want impuzzle to be... let the artists do what they want. Khoai Ryan's impuzzle season two is looking fantastic... the detail he puts into his artwork is truly amazing. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found both Laura and Khoai Ryan to create the first two puzzles.

who is Rootle?... Rootle is a character Laura created and she includes Rootle in all her wimmelbild artwork. I am thrilled to have Rootle appear in impuzzle season one. here Rootle and worm find themselves in the upside down wizard tower... and more awesome artwork from Laura's season one. Rootle also appears in Khoai Ryan's impuzzle season two...
